An adult group dedicated to growing in faith by sharing life experiences and exploring God’s love for the world. We will resume on January 8th as we continue to explore the book “Five Practices of Fruitful Congregations”. Please join us in the Fellowship Hall on Monday nights at 7 PM.
Coffee with the Pastor
Do you have questions about Stony Creek UMC or Methodism or Christianity or scripture or life? Pastor Nate might not have all of the answers but he is willing to explore any topic with you. Whether you have a "stump the pastor" question or you need someone to help you through troubled waters or you just want to get to know him better, give him a call (586-229-5767).
Wednesday Night Alive!
Our hearts have led us to offer a time for families to gather, share some food, and then break into age-based groups for constructive discussion. Children will have supervised time for play and activity, while adults will have time to discuss how our lives are affected by current events/ how the things of the world weigh on our spirits. Our discussions will be topic-based, mediated, and all who wish to speak will be given time and respect to do so. Dinner will be fully provided the first night, with the following dates being participant-provided potluck. Our hope is to find common ground, and to be led into personal change that could transform the world for the better! Wednesday Night Alive! will be held at the Parsonage, starting at 6 PM will start with a 4-week trial period, the evenings of November 29 and December 6, 13, and 20. We hope to offer it again, on a more permanent basis, in 2018. Call Pastor Nate at 586-229-5767 for the address and/or directions if needed.
